Job Description:

Act as the lead network engineer for design, deployment, and implementation of Web-based applications and enterprise IT services, including user identification and authorization. Work with application design teams to provide engineering advice on network issues. Perform network architecture studies, including performance and security issues that might impact application deployment. Test and identify network problems and provide recommendations to the application design team and network operations centers.

Functional/Industry Knowledge:

Qualifications:

5 years of experience as a functional expert in LAN and WAN technologies, protocols, and security

Experience with UNIX and Windows required

Experience with DoD IT Security

Knowledge of Accreditation Program preferred

Knowledge of a broad spectrum of network technologies

Education/Certifications or equivalent required:
BS degree in Information Systems or a related field required
